About Me

Hey, I’m Phil, a music producer, sound designer, and supermarket middle manager based in Scotland. My passion for music production started at 16 when I got my first laptop and a copy of Ableton, sparking a creative journey that led me to explore genres like future garage, lofi, and house. This creative drive was further shaped by my studies in Fine Arts at the National College of Art and Design (NCAD) in Dublin, where I developed a deep appreciation for sound, texture, and visual storytelling.

Balancing my day job in supermarket management with my love for sound design, I spend my free time experimenting with unique sound creation. Many of the sample packs I share stem from these hands-on explorations—like the Coca-Cola Drum Kit, crafted from soda can sounds, and the Broken Light Bulb Percussion Kit, turning shattered glass into percussive textures.

I built this website to give back to the creative community by offering free-to-download CC0 sound packs that empower music producers, filmmakers, game developers, and content creators. From immersive field recordings and atmospheric textures to handcrafted drum kits and melodic loops, every sound is carefully curated to inspire and enhance your projects.

The sounds I’ve created have reached far beyond this platform. They’ve been featured in Gleam art installations at the Olbricht Botanical Garden, used by artists in the music charts, and recognized by MusicRadar—the leading music website on the internet—as well as by BandLab and Sample Library. My work also supports students and educators worldwide, appearing in resource sections for colleges and universities.

A major milestone for this project has been surpassing over 1 million free downloads. This achievement reflects the global reach of these sound packs and the incredible support from producers, filmmakers, and creators who continue to use and share my work. It’s been inspiring to see these sounds fuel creative projects across so many different mediums.
